Seven banks have already joined the path of sustainable finance, together with REIF.
The Renewable Energy Innovation Fund (REIF), implemented by the Joint SDG Fund, United Nations Uruguay, UNIDO, UN Women and UNDP with the participation of MIEM, OPP, MA, and UTE, has already signed 7 agreements with financial institutions to co-finance innovative projects aimed at decarbonizing the economy.
BBVA, Heritage, Santander, Itau, Scotiabank, HSBC, and BROU, are the strategic partners that will promote together with REIF, the Second Energy Transition in the country.
