IXOU - Brusco Building

Summary

As part of the sustainable initiative of Grupo IXOU's Brusco Building Project, the acquisition of advanced technologies for heating and cooling and AC electric vehicle chargers for semi-fast charging, which become part of the public charging network, is financed. This innovative real estate development in Uruguay is certified LEED PLATINUM for offices and LEED GOLD for housing, marking a milestone in sustainability in the country.

Impact

The installation of heat pumps improves energy efficiency compared to conventional heating and cooling solutions. This translates into a reduction of the primary energy demand needed to perform the same functions and thus reduces greenhouse gas emissions.On the other hand, the installation of electric vehicle chargers, which are part of the public charging network, makes the adoption of this technology more practical and convenient, promoting sustainable mobility.

Non-reimbursable technical assistance

REIF offers technical assistance for the annual monitoring and reporting of gender and impact indicators during the credit period, the elaboration of a sustainability report and the implementation of gender equality practices in the workplace, based on the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
