Following an agreement with the Renewable Energy Innovation Fund (REIF), José Joaquín Aguilera Prado, an expert from the Danish Technological Institute, will visit Uruguay from June 17 to 21 to share his experience in the use of heat pumps for steam generation in industry. This technology contributes to the decarbonization of the sector and has the potential to be incorporated in Uruguay.

In addition, this applied research institute will offer its perspective on policies for the integration of this technology, as well as the promotion of collaboration between academia and industry, based on its experience with this technology and the rest of its projects.

The agenda of activities includes several presentations focused on the interests of each audience, whether they are technicians, consultants, ESCOs, researchers and academics, chambers and industries and public policy makers. There is a limited number of participants, and priority will be given to the applicant's connection with the focus of the talk.
