At REIF, we continue to promote initiatives to integrate a gender perspective into the energy transition.

Following our collaboration with the Uruguayan Association of Women in Energy (AUME)—which included presenting evidence on gender gaps in STEM fields and offering training opportunities to strengthen women’s leadership in the energy sector—we held a new training and exchange session specifically aimed at members of the association.

During the event, UN Women specialists shared tools, evidence, and best practices on gender equality, gender-sensitive communication, women’s economic empowerment, climate change, and shared responsibility for caregiving.

This activity is part of an ongoing effort to promote women’s leadership and help the energy sector move toward more inclusive organizations.
