Santander signed an agreement with REIF to co-finance innovative projects that contribute to decarbonizing the economy in Uruguay. the economy in Uruguay. For the investments of the future, sustainability is a determining factor.
Pablo Gaudio, commercial director of Santander, said: "This agreement allows us, on the one hand, to further the achievement of a key objective for the bank: to work towards having a positive impact on the well-being of people and the sustainability of the planet. On the other hand, it boosts investment in renewable energies with a high degree of innovation and scalability. It is aligned with the objectives of decarbonization and energy transition that are being developed at a national level and is one more step that Santander Uruguay is taking to accompany our clients in the transition to a more sustainable economy".
